Health Services


Services provided through Health Services include:
  • Hearing and vision screening
  • Scoliosis screening
  • HIV/AIDS training
  • Assessment of student immunization status
  • Documentation of medical test results, medical reports and other pertinent health information for each student's health record as needed
  • Health instruction to selected classes
  • Health resource information to staff
  • Liaison between the Lassen County Public Health Department and the school districts
  • Technical assistance in district's design of health-related policies
  • Child health assessments and community resource information to students, parents, and staff
  • Train school personnel in procedures required for students with special needs

Parent Information

  • As of the 2010-2011 school year all students in 7th-12th grades are required to show proof of current immunization for Tdap. Click link to view:

  • If your child needs a vision exam and/or glasses and you do not have insurance, your child may be eligible for a free exam and glasses through the Sight for Students program.
