7th Grade Career Fair

The Lassen County Office of Education is excited to launch the 2017-18 school year by hosting the annual Career Fair for the seventh grade students in Lassen County.  Our goal is to begin introducing students to the many career options available before entering high school.  The Lassen County Office of Education is looking for members in the community to participate in the Career Fair to share an overview of their careers, educational backgrounds, job requirements, training, and potential for career advancement.  As a participant, your organization would be an advocate for your given industry/field.  The Career Fair is scheduled for Friday, October 6, 2017, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and will be held at Diamond View School.

A diverse group of community members and businesses from the fields of education, medicine, government, business, agriculture, military, and private industry will be participating.  The Career Fair is designed to attract a wide range of participants, and we anticipate approximately 250 students, teachers, school administrators, and members of the general public from communities throughout Lassen County to attend.

Please join us, share your expertise with the students in our community, and support the Lassen County Office of Education in building an awareness of future career choices.  If you would like to participate in this annual event, please register on-line at the following link: https://lassencountycareerfair2017.eventbrite.com.

If you have questions, need additional information, or support with registration, please contact Jenny Sheetz at 530-257-2196 or jasheetz@lcoe.org.

We look forward to hearing from you.
