Lassen County Office of Education Supporting Students for the Future

After hosting two workshops focused on the Science of Reading, the Lassen County Office of Education provided Classroom Set-Up kits and training to educators. California's Multi-Tiered System of Support (CA MTSS) is a comprehensive framework that aligns academic, behavioral, social and emotional learning, and mental health supports in a fully integrated system of support for the benefit of all students. CA MTSS offers the potential to create needed systematic change through intentional design and redesign of services and supports to quickly identify and match to the needs of all students.

 

The purpose of CS4NorCal is to build regional capacity based in the county office of education to support CS professional learning and pathway implementation in small and rural school districts and schools. The project is a pathway approach that focuses on preparing rural educators to teach computer science and creating opportunities for students to learn and apply CS skills across grades and subject matter.
