Lassen County teacher leaders are coming together to launch the Lassen County Math Workgroup, a collaborative effort to prepare for the upcoming 2026 Math Curriculum Adoption. This group will focus on reviewing the 2023 California Math Framework, exploring best instructional practices, understanding the research driving instructional shifts, and sharing practical strategies to support effective math teaching. The workgroup will play a key role in shaping the new curriculum while providing opportunities for professional growth. Educators are encouraged to stay tuned for future math-focused professional learning opportunities that will build on this important work.
