Colorful flyer for the 40th Annual Lassen County Children’s Fair hosted by the Lassen County Office of Education. The event takes place Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Lassen County Fairgrounds with free admission. The theme reads “The Family That Plays Together, Grows Together.” The flyer features cartoon children, balloons, and a dragon, and highlights activities including family games, community resource booths, craft and food vendors, vehicle displays, and hands-on activities. Featured attractions include the Mr. Blue Shoes family concert, STEM hands-on science lab, laser tag, Build-It Zone, Nerf Wars, exploration activities, Wonder Art Kids, Sami’s Circuit, kids cookie decorating, LMUD demonstrations with an egg drop competition, flower arranging, and more. A QR code and link are included for booth registration.

The Lassen County Office of Education invites families and community members to the 40th Annual Children’s Fair on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Lassen County Fairgrounds. This beloved community tradition brings together children, families, and local organizations for a full day of fun, learning, and hands-on experiences.
 
This year’s theme, “The Family That Plays Together, Grows Together,” celebrates the importance of family, play, and connection. The fair will feature a wide variety of activities including community resource booths, food vendors, craft vendors, games, vehicle displays, and interactive activities for kids and families. Highlights include live entertainment, hands-on STEM activities, creative arts, and other exciting experiences designed to inspire curiosity and fun.
 
The Children’s Fair is free to attend and offers a wonderful opportunity for families to explore local resources while enjoying a day of entertainment and learning together.
 

Vendor & Booth Opportunities

We are currently seeking community resource booths, craft vendors, food vendors, and activity providers to help make this special event a success. Participating in the Children’s Fair is a great opportunity to:
  • Connect with local children and families
  • Share your organization, business, or services with the community
  • Promote hands-on activities, resources, products, and family-friendly experiences
  • Be part of a long-standing Lassen County tradition focused on children and families
