2025 Educator Gala

On Friday, April 25th, the Lassen County Office of Education (LCOE) proudly hosted its Second Annual Educator Gala, an evening dedicated to celebrating the outstanding contributions of educators, staff, volunteers, and community partners across Lassen County.

Leading up to the event, LCOE invited fellow educators, parents, students, and community members to submit nominations for the Excellence in Education Awards. The response was overwhelming, with over 150 nominations submitted — each one sharing heartfelt stories of impact, innovation, and unwavering commitment to students. The evening began with a lively appetizer and cocktail hour, followed by a delicious catered dinner and desserts. It was a night filled with gratitude, celebration, and community spirit. Nearly 275 people from the education community gathered to honor these inspirational individuals and teams.

Award categories included:
  • WorkAbility and Transition Partnership Program (TPP) Awards, recognizing businesses that support vocational programs for students with disabilities.
  • Volunteer Recognition in Education
  • Classified Staff Excellence
  • Certificated Staff Excellence
  • School Program Recognition
  • Chief Business Official Award
  • Administrator Recognition
  • Countywide Impact Award

We extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the event possible, and to the community members who took the time to submit nominations. Your support helps shine a light on the vital role educators play in shaping the future.
