Fine Arts and History Festival

Promotional flyer for the 2026 Fine Arts & History Creative Palooza, hosted by the Lassen County Office of Education. The event will take place on Tuesday, March 3, and Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:35 PM at the Lassen County Fairgrounds, for 3rd to 8th grade students (350 student limit per day). The theme is “Discover What’s Hidden. Play Beyond the Obvious.” Featured activities include a Lip Sync Battle, Theater and Storytelling Games, Feel the Beat, Find Your Groove, Unlocking Your Creativity, History on Display, and an Artist Spotlight on Paul Klee exploring the intersection of art and math. Special performance by Bright Star Touring Theatre. The flyer includes whimsical cartoon icons and a QR code for registration. A note at the bottom invites students to enjoy a full day of interactive, hands-on creative expression and exploration.

Fine Arts & History Creative Palooza Returns – March 3–4, 2026!

Get ready for two days of creativity, inspiration, and hands-on fun at the 2026 Fine Arts & History Creative Palooza, hosted by the Lassen County Office of Education at the Lassen County Fairgrounds on March 3rd and 4th, from 9:00 AM to 1:35 PM each day. Open to 3rd–8th grade students, this year’s theme—"Discover What’s Hidden. Play Beyond the Obvious."—invites students to dive into artistic expression and historical exploration in new and imaginative ways.
 
Students will enjoy a variety of engaging workshops and activities, including:
  • Lip Sync Battle
  • Unlocking Your Creativity: Think It, Write It, Share It
  • Feel the Beat, Find Your Groove
  • Artist Spotlight: Paul Klee – The Intersection of Art and Math
  • History on Display
  • Theater and Storytelling Games
 
The event will also feature a high-energy performance from Bright Star Touring Theatre, adding even more excitement and inspiration to the day.
With a limit of 350 students per day, early registration is encouraged!
