Goals
The primary goals of the Administration of the Lassen County Office of Education are:
- Provide leadership toward the development and improvement of services sponsored by the Lassen County Office of Education.
- Provide appropriate instructional and support personnel and increase/maintain a level of efficiency and effectiveness through an objective-based evaluation and in-service program.
- Provide appropriate general and special education programs and related services and to increase/maintain their level of efficiency and effectiveness through program coordination and coordinated compliance with State/Federal standards.
- Provide appropriate public information to various agencies and news services as they relate to activities of the Education, Business, Special Education, and all programs provided by the Lassen County Office of Education.
- Provide assistance to local schools districts with such specialized administrative services as policy development, paralegal information, etc.
- Provide assistance to the Lassen County Board of Education in the areas of coordination of meetings, legal research, recommendations, and recording of meetings.
- Provide coordination and leadership in school districts and the community regarding Lassen County school district organization.
- Develop and maintain partnerships between Education and Businesses in Lassen County, including Adopt-a-School, Career Speakers, and Resolutions between Business/Education.
